For years my wife and I ran a small boutique wedding photography business. We did well, but we always feared one bad wedding season, and we'd have to go back and get "real jobs." Then in 2014 I started The Home Aesthetic. It's changed our lives, and the way we look at being a photographer. We've spent the last 8 documenting and streamlining our processes so we can travel the world, work with a team that we love, and only take the shoots we want.
Now we want to help other photographers do the same.
I get it, you don't know me. Why should you trust me?
I'm not a youtube star, I don't have 1 million followers, and most people have never heard of me. But, I did build a real estate photography business from a single part time client to studio that brings in over half a million a year, and is growing by 20% each year. Giving my wife and I the change to travel the world and live the life we dreamed of.
Most importantly, I'm passionate about helping other photographers do it too.

Let's get Personal!
For starters, Meet Jackie, My better half. Yes, I married up.
I've always been a bit stubborn. I never want to do something until I'm told I can't. It's part of my charm I guess, also why my parents didn't have more children, but that's besides the point.
I was photographing a house, an estate really. All was going well. I was wrapping up shooting the dining room, and the owner and real estate agent were sitting on the stairs 3 feet from me. Lamenting the troubles of being overly wealthy, and the owner says..."My daughter want's to major in photography, but you just can't make a living in the arts"
Cool, cool, cool. Don't mind me...the photographer.
But why are you really doing this?
That's great. You like Italy and make mean cocktail
I've since realized the reason that this random person's comment hit me so hard wasn't because I was upset that she believed it. It was because somehow inside I knew I believed it too.
I wish I could say it's been all rainbows and roses since then, but in reality there have been hard days, really hard days. But I love that fact that now, I get to help people like me. People that need to believe they can do it.
I didn't need to prove it to her. I needed to prove it to myself.
In all honesty, whether you sign up for a course, personal coaching, or are just intrigued, I would love to hear from you.
